In 2018 the story of one of the greatest groups of Italian music starts again: Fabio Perversi, a member since 1998, becomes the leader and "soul" of Matia Bazar with the debut of a young and extraordinary singer: LUNA of 26. The Matia Bazar are one of the few Italian groups to have achieved worldwide success: Europe, Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union countries, Japan, Latin America, Canada, U.S.A. Artistically born in Genoa in 1975, the founding members are Piero Cassano, Aldo Stellita, Carlo Marrale, Giancarlo Golzi and Antonella Ruggiero. The first single was “Stasera che sera” (1975) which immediately reached great popularity in the world linked to Covid. The single and the music video were released in Russia on September 18 on all digital platforms.

"Verso il punto più alto", the new single that marks the return of Matia Bazar. The song, distributed by PIRAMES International (Farn Music label), will be on sale in all stores starting from 9 March 2019 and was created by the new line-up of the group (vocals, Luna Dragonieri; keyboard, Fabio Perversi; drums, Fiamma Cardani; bass, Paola Zadra; guitar, Piero Marras).
